Art Apero & Networking by Young Collectors Circle

Meet the Antwerp Art scene!

Join the art apero and networking event,
hosted by Young Collectors Circle.

Join a free event hosted by Young Collectors Circle on Friday 17.05 from 16:30 until 19:30. It starts with studio visits at MORPHO, a non-profit organisation that supports artists in their artistic development by offering residencies and studios. This provides artists with the time, space and resources they need to grow. During our visit, we will be guided by Caroline Dumalin, the Artistic Director, and Laurens Otto, who is responsible for residency and production. We’ll get the opportunity to see the studios of a couple of artists like Ondřej Doskočil, Lou Cocody-Valentino, Astrid Vandercamere and Nassim Azarzar.

After the tour, a special networking event will take place in the garden of Kunsthal Extra City, where even the most introverted can network with ease using Young Collectors Circle's special networking cards. Please note that any drinks during the event will be at your own expense, prior reservation required.

Young Collectors Circle is a non-profit community-based platform, dedicated to supporting the arts. Their events are offered both online and offline, and accesible for art lovers all over the world.

Young Collectors Circle is based in Amsterdam (NL) and besides their digital offer, they organise events throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. For internationals living in these countries, Young Collectors Circle is a great way to discover the local art scene. For members outside of the Netherlands, they regularly organize meetups worldwide during art fairs such as Frieze London & New York, Art Basel & Art Basel Miami Beach, Expo Chicago, and FIAC Paris on top of their digital offer.

Every week Young Collectors Circle offers an exciting and varied program, ranging from an exclusive behind the scenes tour at an auction house to a visit to an extraordinary private collection; and from a talkshow about the value of art to a peek inside artists' studios. They also visit art fairs all over the world and host online masterclasses about collecting art and different art forms. Events are accessible for all entry levels and a little different from your usual art event: they offer not just a combination of inspirational and practical information, but also a social network of like-minded people, direct access to artists, art professionals and collectors, as well as an exclusive look behind the scenes of the art world.
