Antwerp Art Weekend is a citywide manifestation for contemporary art in Antwerp, where art venues in and around the city join forces to celebrate and promote contemporary art as a valuable and essential part of society. The Antwerp Art Weekend is the best way to experience the city's flourishing art scene, with over 70 galleries, art spaces and museums to discover. Venues go all out to deliver an expanded program, with a plethora of extracurricular activities.

De Studio functions as the central location during the event, based in the middle of Antwerp, hosting a main curated exhibition and our annual celebratory party, the Nacht van de Beeldende Kunst, organized in collaboration with Subbacultcha Belgium.

Conveniently located in the proximity of Brussels, Paris, London, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Cologne, Antwerp hosts a constant flow of artists and art lovers, complementing the already present local scene and continuing its position as an avant-garde city.

Since 2014, Antwerp Art connects and promotes the activities by its vibrant contemporary art scene, ranging from renowned museums and galleries, to project spaces, the artist-in-residence program, two prominent art schools, the Kunsthal and young, upcoming artist initiatives, by listing relevant exhibitions and organizing the yearly Antwerp Art Weekend.

Antwerp Art is a non-profit organization and is supported by its members and the City of Antwerp.
