Stieglitz 19

Kevin Osepa was born in 1994 in Willemstad, Curaçao. He is currently based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He graduated in Photography in 2017 from the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU), Utrecht. Osepa’s work revolves around his identity and the identity of Afro-Caribbean youth in a post-colonial world. While the themes he explores are autobiographical, his work can also serve as a quasi-anthropological study. Using different experimental techniques, he creates colourful visual stories that explore themes such as religion, African diaspora, and family.
